Ski to Sea Blossomtime Parade

Ski to Sea Blossomtime Parade
Rolling Forward Together
Famous for having a little bit of everything that you want to see in a hometown parade, the Ski to Sea Blossomtime Parade will be held on Saturday, May 24th from noon to 2:00pm.  Lead by the local police department, the parade features floats, marching bands, fire trucks and horses.

The parade will be filmed by the city’s BTV Channel 10 so that people who are unable to get outside can still enjoy the event or for those of you who want to see yourself on TV!

This year’s Ski to Sea Blossomtime Parade’s theme is “Rolling Forward Together, the Wheel of Whatcom.” Parade Director, Maria Dahl explained how the parade committee chose the theme: “All of us working together is what propels the Wheel of Whatcom. We're excited to see everyone's interpretation of how their 'spoke in the wheel' promotes the community and moves it forward. This will be a wonderful way for all parade entrants to be creative and showcase their business, school or organization in the context of that theme."

This year’s Grand Marshall will be Bellingham Police Department’s own Lt. Rick Sucee.
