Robin Robertson, local author of International Best Selling book “Healthy Knees Cycling” will give a talk about how to reduce knee pain and keep your knees healthy at Village Books (Fairhaven) on February 5th, 7pm. Robin has had a total of eight knee surgeries and was diagnosed with severe knee arthritis when she was just 24 years old. Yet, since then, she has ridden her bike around the world, competed in road bike and mountain bike racing, and now helps others to alleviate their knee pain. Her new book, “Healthy Knees Cycling” reached Amazon International Best Seller in five countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Denmark, and Australia.
Robin Robertson and her husband Doug own and manage the Bellingham Tennis Club and Fairhaven Fitness. Robin has designed all of their cycling programs to ensure knee health and now offers “Healthy Knees Cycling” classes. In June she will launch an international “train the trainer” program to teach others how to safely guide those with knee, hip, and ankle complaints to better health, reduced pain, and an active lifestyle.
The talk at Village Books (Fairhaven) on February 5th at 7pm is free.
