Chamber Announces 15th Annual Awards Finalists
The Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists for the upcoming Annual Awards Dinner.
“The Annual Award committee has been interviewing all of the finalists. It will be a tough decision since all of the finalists are deserving of the awards,” said Shelli Jones, Marketing Coordinator for the chamber.
This year’s Small Business of the Year finalists are 2020 Solutions, Gary’s Plumbing and Heating and IAj Multimedia. A small business must have 20 or fewer fulltime employees and must be a Chamber member to qualify.
This year’s Large Business of the Year finalists are Four Points by Sheraton, Barron Heating & Air Conditioning and Woods Coffee. A large business must have 21 or more fulltime employees and must be a Chamber member to qualify.
This year’s CEO of the Year finalists are Ray Deck III with Skookum Kids, Ross Black with Simple Box Storage and Danielle Rosellison with Trail Blazin’ Productions.
This year’s Nonprofit of the Year finalists are Animals as Natural Therapy, Brigadoon Service Dogs and Whatcom Family YMCA.
The winners for Small, Large and Tourism Business of the Year are announced at the dinner along with CEO, Nonprofit, Maritime Industry, Lifetime Achievement, Young Professional and Chamber Ambassador of the Year.
“We are also excited to announce that Veritas Media Productions will be producing the event including videos, sound and lighting. For the first time, Veritas will also be shooting video of the acceptance speeches which have been among the highlights of previous award ceremonies,” said Jones.
The dinner will be held at Four Points by Sheraton from 5:30-9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5. The cost of attendance is $75 for members, $85 for non-members and $800 for table sponsors.
