Leadership Whatcom Scholarship Program

Leadership Whatcom partial scholarship criteria:

Chamber members
Employees or representatives who are members of the Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) will be given priority consideration in the scholarship award process.

Financial need:
Those applicants who can display a financial need will be considered for a partial scholarship.
Needs will be based upon an employer’s willingness to contribute.
Consideration will be given to applicants who own or are employed by locally owned small businesses and local nonprofits.

Diversity contributions:
Diversity of perspectives and an interest in learning to bridge them is a core value of Leadership Whatcom. Program content will draw on participants’ experience and diversity in terms of personal demographics, professional/community experience, perspectives, and values.

Scholarships will be evaluated by the Leadership Whatcom Committee based on applicant’s ability to pay the registration fee and the diverse perspectives that the applicant will bring to the class dynamics.

Scholarship applicants must first apply to Leadership Whatcom and be accepted to the program before being considered for a scholarship. Upon acceptance to the program, we will contact you with details about the scholarship application process.
